A medical yoga class with Dr Geeta S. Iyengar


In 2009, we spent several months in at Ramamani Iyengar Memorial Yoga Institute, in Pune. We were granted permission to make this short documentary to showcase the therapeutic work done at the Institute during the so call "medical classes". Therapeutics is an essential part of the Iyengar's teachings. The concern for the well being of the patients is paramount and the work is done under the rigorous supervision of Dr Geeta Iyengar. You will find here an exemple of that there is more to yoga than the proverbial quest for "buns of steel".
